City Impact – catalysts for change through passionate community projects.
Established in 2018, City Impact seeks to deliver life-changing community engagement activities.
Since 2011, we’ve run projects, events and support services from music to debt centres and foodbanks, and have been involved in various partner projects across the Canterbury district. We deliver a variety of workshops, events and schemes.
City Impact is a fully funded organisation, completely reliant on donations, and grant funding.
Of course this means we run a lot of fundraising events too! From cycling and running 100s of miles, to young people creating beautiful greetings cards and selling them at school and churches.
If you’re interested in raising funds or even joining the City Impact cycling team (they even have branded jerseys!) then get in touch with Fiona.
Christians Against Poverty
We’ve been running a CAP centre since 2011, and since that time, we’ve helped over 58 families become debt free! The Debt Centre is a free service to help anyone in the Canterbury area who may be struggling with unmanageable debt.
Run in Canterbury by Becca Leeves, the CAP service supports families with a dedicated case worker helping them with budget planning, and arranging affordable plans to get out of debt.
If you want debt help please ring 0800 328 0006

City Impact Youth Initiative
We are currently researching and digging into the landscape of youth provision in Canterbury. Delivered by Tish, our youth office, this research will inform our projects for the future to ensure we can use our time and resources to best fill the gaps identified.
We are really excited to see what ways we will be able to engage with local young people and will keep this page updated!
