What is Grace Acts?

Grace Acts is made up of two initiatives designed to help the people of CV live out what it looks like to follow Jesus in real life.

The Grace Acts Fund provides a way for our church family to demonstrate our commitment to each other and to those in and around our communities, particularly in response to the cost of living. Broken washing machines, car troubles, sudden bills, cost of living issues. The Grace Acts fund is for one off moments in life where we can support in love.

Grace Acts Projects is where we mobilise volunteers to serve Canterbury in practical and tangible ways. Both were launched at our Covenant Meal in Autumn 2022, and the projects arm has seen gardens cleared, caravans cleared and demolished, beaches cleaned, houses emptied and many more. If you are in need - reach out and we'll see what might be possible.

How can you get involved?

Whether you want to give, volunteer, refer someone in need, or simply pray, there is a place for you in Grace Acts.

The two initiatives

Grace Acts Fund

A practical fund set up to support people in real financial need in and around our communities. Giving is confidential. Referrals are handled with care and dignity.

• Are you in a position to give?
• Can you provide referrals for those in need?
• Are you in a position of need yourself?

Grace Acts Projects

Community projects that mobilise our church family to serve Canterbury in real and practical ways. Hands-on. All welcome. No experience required.

• Can you volunteer your time?
• Can you identify opportunities to serve?
• Can you help organise a project?

We commit our time, skills and resources.

To have more impact together. This is what it looks like to love our neighbour.
