Community Sundays
The final Sunday of every month. No church meeting. Just real life, together.
We love doing real life together.
On the last Sunday of each month we do not gather at Archbishop's School. Instead we scatter into our community families and invite others to join in.
Dog walks and beach afternoons. Roast dinners and pub lunches. Theatre trips and afternoon teas. Football watching and garden hangouts. Whatever the community decides, the point is doing it together.
Community Sundays are not a break from church. They are church in its most natural form.
How community Sundays connect
Each community at CV is built around three interconnected circles. Community Sundays are where at least one of these circles comes to life together every month. This is not a concept. It is how we actually live.
Inclusive
This is where we do life. Coffee, meals, nights out, babysitting, camping trips and good conversations. Filled with friends who may not believe yet, because we love them and want them in the room.
Impact
Stepping out together intentionally, seeking the flourishing of our neighbourhoods and city. Community Sundays often become the launchpad for a project, a serve day, or something bigger.
