CV Youth is for young people of secondary school age. Every single person is loved and valued here regardless of their individual beliefs and background. You do not have to be a follower of Jesus to be welcome.
Young people can get involved as much or as little as they feel comfortable with and are always welcome to bring friends along. We keep most Sunday mornings free for young people to join their families in church.
Throughout the week and at weekends we meet for socials, Grace Acts project days, individual mentoring, worship nights, and teaching sessions. We really do get up to all sorts.

Regular worship nights and teaching sessions where young people encounter God and go deeper in their faith together.

Getting our hands dirty serving Canterbury. Young people making a real difference in the community they live in.
Individual mentoring
Real relationships, not just programmes. Leaders investing personally in the young people in their lives.
Sunday serving
Young people on the worship team, welcome team, and other Sunday ministry roles. Everyone gets to play.
Prayer and support
We pray for our young people, their families, and their friends. Nobody navigates this season alone if we can help it.
Dreaming the Impossible
Every year we take a group to DTI, joining thousands of young people from across the country to worship Jesus and have an incredible time together. 5 nights away. Always one of the highlights of the year. Our young people come back buzzing.

Colin has been investing in young people at CV for years. Full of humour and wisdom he is someone young people know they can trust. A foundational part of what makes CV Youth what it is, plus ... he's basically Mr Christmas.

Nic brings prophetic insight and pastoral care to the youth team in equal measure. He has a brilliant way of making every young person feel seen and valued. Whether it is a social or a deep conversation, he is fully present for both.
