Worship
We sing together, soak in the presence of God, and create space to simply be with Him. It is expressive and warm. Loud enough to mean it, quiet enough to hear Him.

For many people, church can feel religious, too structured, or like somewhere you have to fit a certain mould. Or maybe you have never stepped foot inside a church. Here at CV it is nothing like that.
Come simply as you are. No strings, no expectation. Jesus loves you however you arrive.
First time?
If you feel nervous about turning up for the first time, send a quick email to admin@canterburyvineyard.com and we will make sure you have someone to welcome you personally.
What time do we start?
We kick off each Sunday with tea, coffee and a chinwag from 10:30am in the foyer. We start our meeting at 10:45am for worship, teaching, and time to hear from God. Most Sundays include an opportunity for prayer too.
We finish around 12:30pm. There is no rush to leave, although our packdown team may move some things around you, do not feel you need to rush off.

We sing together, soak in the presence of God, and create space to simply be with Him. It is expressive and warm. Loud enough to mean it, quiet enough to hear Him.

Practical, biblical, and rooted in real life. We dig into Scripture together and explore what it means to follow Jesus in Canterbury today.

We make space to pray for one another. Nobody is pushed forward or put on the spot. But if you would like prayer, there are always people who would love to pray with you.

Kids are with us for worship then head off to their own session. It is fun, engaging, and Jesus-filled. You can find out more on the Kids page.

Nobody should leave a Sunday feeling invisible. We are a genuinely warm bunch and there will always be someone to welcome you, sit with you, or grab a coffee with you.

No dress code. No religious background required. No idea what you believe yet? That is completely fine. Everyone is at a different point in the journey and all are genuinely welcome.

On the last Sunday of each month we do not meet at Archbishop's School. Instead we scatter into our communities across Canterbury: walks, beach BBQs, pub lunches, someone's garden, or serve our community.
We have one rule at CV. Be yourself. Come as you are and you will fit right in.

We have a genuine heart for every generation. Kids are with us on Sunday mornings with their own brilliant session. Youth gather through the week. Students you have an awesome student worker, Lauren - get to know her!
And if you are broken, struggling, or just finding your feet, you belong here too.
